Double Bay Rack

Double bay description

The double bay rack is supplied fully assembled and fitted with black steel front rack strips that are recessed back approximately 12mm from the front edge. Fitted with either castors or adjustable levelling furniture glides - please specify which you would like to have installed at the point of order. The back is mainly open. Uses M6 cage nuts and bolts, which are supplied with the rack.

All racks are made to order. If you wish to customise a rack to meet your own requirements - for example, to change the depth, add rear rack strips, add an enclosed back or add doors please email john@studioracks.co.uk.

Options

Rack space: 12U to 16U or we can custom build to your requirements.
Height: 12U height is approx 660mm or 690mm with castors. Each additional U of rack space will add approx 45mm to the height. If the height required is critical please specify.
Depth: 440mm at the base. Depth at the top will vary according to height and your requirements. Typically a 15-degree angle from the vertical will in a 12U rack provide a depth of 300mm.
Width: 1038mm overall for a solid hardwood rack and 1042mm for a real wood veneer rack.

Finishes: The stocked range of solid hardwood and real wood veneers are oak, maple, sapele, cherry or walnut.

All dimensions stated subject to nominal small variation of +/-2mm due to material thickness and or construction. All racks meet the standard for 19” racking.
