StudioRacks – Music Studio Desk – 007

With 8u of 19” rack space on top and 8u of 19” rack space below, this compact unit declares its mastering intentions.  The dropped rear shelf sits 100mm below the top of the rack space allowing the monitor screen to sit directly in front of the user whilst the front section is a generous 270mm deep and is 840mm at the widest point.

Ventilation slots and black fabric-covered side panels provided ventilation whilst still largely hiding from view the inevitable nest of cables.

The desk comes equipped with adjustable feet to give an additional 10mm for levelling up on uneven floors.

All our desks are supplied with caged nuts washers and bolts for mounting gear onto the rack strips.

Construction

We are supplying these desks part built and will only need some basic level of hands-on construction to bring the desks to life.

Can it be handled and assembled by one person?

The heaviest component will be approx 32kg so it will be necessary to have help at hand to
get into position but attaching the shelf is a one-person operation.

How long will it take to assemble the desk?

It is only the front shelf that has to be fitted so within 15minutes of unpacking
it will be ready to receive your gear!

Once in the room and unpacked we would anticipate it to take between 1 and 2 hours.

What tools do I need?

All you will need is a medium-sized cross-head screwdriver to fit the desk together.

What is the overall footprint of the desk?

845mm wide x 900mm deep x 815mm high.

Delivery

How is it delivered?

We deliver to mainland UK on a pallet. It will be delivered by a third-party haulage company with standard curbside delivery terms. Someone has to be present on the arranged day to receive the pallet.

Once I have ordered the desk how long will it be before it arrives?

The desk is made for you and we will get it delivered within 6 weeks. We will contact you at least a week prior to dispatch to
arrange the delivery with you.

Can you deliver this desk outside of the UK?

At present we are not offering this service

Can you make this desk from birch ply?

Yes

Can I have the desktop without the black top?

Yes. Please confirm at the point of order.

Can you make the desk wider?

No.

Can you make this unit with additional rack space on top?

We can quote on larger units, please email us with your requirements.

Can you build speaker stands in a matching finish? If so how much?

Yes but only as a custom build item built for you at the time we make your desk. We would need to confirm sizes and heights.
Likely price £300 to £400 per pair.

I have to get the desk parts up a small staircase. What is the largest piece?

The unit without the shelf attached measures 815mm high x 530mm wide x 815mm deep. Weighing around 32kg . It would need to be handled by 2 people.

Can I fit a monitor arm to the desk?

Yes, the rear shelf will accept a monitor arm clamp or be drilled through to accept the bolt. If you let us know your requirements we can assist with drilling the hole or provide additional material to facilitate the clamp. There will be no cost implication.
